About
Welcome to the vibrant world of Tacos Lupita, a hidden gem nestled at 162 River St, Haverhill, MA. If you're seeking authentic Latin American flavors, this Mexican eatery captures the essence of traditional cuisine while embracing a casual and welcoming atmosphere.
Tacos Lupita stands out for its rich offerings and customer-friendly services. Whether you’re dining in, ordering takeout, or enjoying their delightful food at home, this establishment goes the extra mile to cater to every need:
The allure of Tacos Lupita goes beyond its amenities; it lies within the food itself. Patrons rave about their Al Pastor tacos, prepared with juicy marinated pork and complemented by fresh pineapple that elevates every bite. With the corn tortillas made fresh to order, you can truly taste the difference in quality. Combine this with their generous portions in burritos and huaraches, and you've got a feast that promises to satisfy without breaking the bank. Customers like Travis C. aptly describe this place as the best destination for Al Pastor around, highlighting the attention to detail in preparation and flavor.
However, it's worth noting a few quirks. Reviews from locals indicate that the service at the counter can be a bit brusque during busy hours, which may contribute to a high-energy atmosphere that some might find stressful. Despite that, the food shines through, ensuring repeat visits from satisfied customers. As Donna M. points out, Tacos Lupita manages to be an affordable and authentic spot, perfect for both quick lunches and leisurely dinners.
In every bite, you sense the authenticity that Tacos Lupita prides itself on. From the rich flavors to the friendly yet bustling environment, it’s a place that invites you to indulge in Mexican culinary delights. Next time you’re in the Haverhill area and craving something delicious, make sure to stop by Tacos Lupita. You won't regret the journey through their menu; it promises to deliver joy and satisfaction with every bite.
“ Food is great they do a great job. everyone that I know loves this place. They aren't getting 5 stars because they can be rude at counter. Kinda stressful at times ”
“ Great, affordable, authentic little hole in the wall that is easy to miss if you stick to the Main Street where all the restaurants and action takes place. For $30 my husband and I got 3 tacos Al pastor , a burrito carnitas and 1 huaraches Al Pastor and a bottle of soda. The corn tortilla dough was rolled, flattened and grilled to order. Everything was very tasty and fresh. The only slight negative was that when we entered at 7 pm in a Saturday night, half the tables had chairs on top of them as if they were closing for the night and there was a strong odor of bleach, which is nice to know that it was so clean, but I would've expected to see and smell that at the end of the night. We ate at one of the tables that didn't have chairs on top and by the time we left there was a line out the door. Clearly a locals spot and hot for take out. We'll be back! ”
“ This is hands down the best place around for Al Pastor. I like to consider myself a veteran of ordering Al Pastor from numerous establishments and this place takes the cake. They have street parking which can be hectic but other than that it's a great place for Mexican food. I love their burritos because they don't skim on the meat, rice or beans. The Al Pastor has the pineapples as well which makes the meat even more juicy. I haven't tried anything bad here and I've tried everything on the menu. So if you're looking for a Mexican spot give this place a try. The food is amazing and you'll love the price of all their dishes. ”
“ Delicious food, great prices. Like a more authentic Chipotle. 2 burritos and 2 drinks only $18! It was soooo yummy too. If you get a chance definitely go. ”
“ Delicious authentic food. Excellent prices. Staff is efficient at keeping up with the long lines. ”
“ Food is dee-lish! Probably one of the best burritos I've ever had in my life. Food is cooked right in front of you. I had huevos with chorizo, rice, and beans in the burrito. Place is my favorite kind of dive, the one where the locals frequent. No public bathrooms so do your biz before you go. Prices good, parking pretty easy on both sides of the street, just watch before you cross because the road is heavily traversed. ”
“ Tacos Lupita is the real deal Mexican with nothing fancy about it. Fresh ingredients and speedy service and your burrito and tacos will be wrapped, hot and ready to go. It makes for a great quick pick up meal if you're on the go, just don't eat it in the car. ”
“ Tacos Lupita serves up no frills, always fresh, and simply prepared taco stand basics. The flavors are authentic, the portions are plenty for a grown man. The prices are reasonable for how much food you get. The only thing that would make this place better would be if they had alcohol on the menu. ”
